->> I have some very exciting news to share about THE coolest sports photography event of the year: John Biever has confirmed he will be a part of the Sports Shooter Academy 13 faculty!

John is one of just just three photographers to have covered all 50 Super Bowls, having started covering the Green Bay Packers and the NFL as a youngster, the son of legendary photographer Vern Biever. John has won numerous awards during this career, 30 years of which were with Sports Illustrated. In 2012 John was presented with the Lucie Award for Achievement in Sports Photography.

John is not only one of the best sports photographers out there but is also one of the nicest guys you are ever going to meet. He joins two other outstanding photographers who are also making their first appearance on the Sports Shooter Academy faculty roster, Keith Birmingham and Hannah Foslien. We are very fortunate to have all three of them with us for SSA 13.

"After hearing that the Sports Shooter Academy participants were primarily students, I jumped at the chance to help teach," John said about his involvement in the workshop, "I feel it's important to mentor and pass forward the knowledge we've picked up over the years. And I also hear it's a fun time."

The Sports Shooter Academy isn't THE coolest sports photography event of the year for nothing!
