->> Workshop instructor Tim Mantoani has generously provided us with a slip cover edition of his wonderful book "Behind Photographs: Archiving Photographic Legends" to be awarded during The Lighting Workshop.

->> I'm really looking forward to this workshop. The best photographers I know can light with style, purpose, and direction, and it never ceases to amaze me how they can do it in all sorts of crappy situations. I've seen this staff make incredible images in hotel rooms and bathrooms the size of sardine cans, and I've witnessed firsthand what it's like when a client says to them "you have 10 minutes" when the arrangement was for 40, and still come away with a quality frame for multiple setups. Truly amazing. I never get tired of learning from great pros, and more importantly, great people. Btw, it was 84 degrees out here in LA today east coasters. Just saying.
