I know who he is, and he made the shot, albeit a little tight. His teammate got the shot from the other side of the end zone (also with him in it), so rest assured, their editor is plenty pleased and there will probably be some good-natured ribbing going on in their newsroom to boot.

->> I've had plenty of occasions where the play is coming straight for me and I've had to stand and back away while trying to "hail mary" a shot at the same time. It doesn't always turn out, but when it comes to getting the shot while staying safe at the same time I've no regrets in doing it, and neither should he.

I looked in the "Member Index", but did not see his name. I would be proud to sponsor him if he wishes to apply to our little group here. I will even pony up the first year's dues.

->> Anyone who is actually a sports photographer OR an actual photojournalist KNOWS you never get the shot every single time. And anyone who says they do is a liar. Situations like that one, after Andy's explanation are the worst. A long pass, looking for the receiver seeing the ball flying in your direction with the long glass up, noticing receiver is now in wide angle range......been there, done that, missed it. and besides, the fact of the matter is that will be the "greatest catch ever" until the NEXT "greatest catch ever" happens next week.

I thought Mills was a great sport for coming on NFL AM and talking about his experience.
