->> "In action" must mean cheesy stock techno music dubbed over video of people posing with the lens with an occasional set of comparison zooms to illustrate they only know how to use it as a telescope, only not as well. No interesting views other than showing the range. Didn't even shoot the moon. Boooooooooo. Hear my jealous criticism. Booooooooo.

->> Ok, I got bored. If anyone else out there reading this plans on doing any type of product review video, please realize what the purpose of the video is - to review the product. This video contains cuts of the following:

Shots of carrying the lens: 7
Shots of attaching camera/tripod to lens: 14
Shots of someone looking into the camera: 17
Actual different shots demonstrating the lens's capability: 5

And bonus hilarity:
Shots of someone taking a picture of the lens: 2 (1:48 and 2:15)
Blatant posing: 1 (2:14)
Time lapse of, well, the lens?: 1 (2:27)

So now they will get lots of hits on the video because of it and not due to the production value

David, you motivated me to find the slide and make a better copy of it. It's now posted with plenty of keywords so Google can find it.

Too bad I didn't shoot a hipster video of Peter using the lens that day back in 1996 for upload to Youtube.

I know it's been available for $99K selling price as long as I've been a member of this site.

->> Even with just my 300/2.8L (which is uncommon in small local places in Hawaii) people come up to me and ask, 'How far can you see with that?' I tell folks, 'infinity' and point to the infinity mark on the focus dial. They nod their heads knowingly like they understand. :)
