Print Source for Leaflets & Flyers

->> I am looking for a good print source to print custom leaflets and marketing flyers I will distribute at tournaments and events I shoot. Anyone have a shop they would recommend?

I am OK with an online printer, but if there is a good one in the DFW area I would definitely check them out.

->> Probably not the cheapest option, but FedEx Office allows you to upload fairly complex print jobs and pick them up (same day in most cases) at any FedEx Office location.

->> Michael -

I would encourage you to look for a local printer near you. Leaflets and flyers are not exactly complicated print jobs and working with a local printer may help you win some business down the road.

While you may not know any printers in your market, I would ask some other small business owners (that you do know) who they use. Are they reasonably priced (not the cheapest), do good work, and deliver on time would be my three metrics to focus on.

I've had a good working relationship with a local commercial printer for over 20 years. Their people are great to work with and always exceed my expectations. They, like myself, support local schools and charity events and are very civic minded. That alone earns them my business. I refer business to them and they do the same for me.

Michael, leave it to me to give you more information than you need or asked for. Please accept my apologies, in advance, for flexing my analytical "bigger picture" thinking all over your simple request.

Good luck!

->> Michael,

I'll echo Jon's suggestion for both Gotprint and The Print Place. They do great work and I'm a long-time customer of both.

Although Gotprint has a facility in Grapevine, it might not be printed there, as different facilities around the country manage different types of jobs. You might check with them to see if you can request the material be printed at a certain plant.

Print Place is based in Arlington and does offer will call pickup.

Kevin, you convinced me to find a local print shop. I will check out Gotprint and The Print Place.

I own a few printers, but I need to have about 1500 - 2000 prints for the first run so I just don't think using them would be economical. (dollars & time).
