->> That's a shame. It's not Mary Schwalm's fault Hernandez is charged with a crime. It's a contest for the photographers, not the players. It's still a great football photo. Besides, whatever happened to that hallmark of the American judicial system...Innocent until proven guilty?

->> @Jamie — They took the photo off display, they didn't strip the photographer of the award. Like Chuck said, it's a PR move on the part of the HOF. I think it's the right move, but I also agree it would've been a courtesy to tell the photographer first.

->> I agree, it sucks Mary's photo has been removed. It's the same thing as pulling the Paterno statue from Penn State. It points out a sad state of affairs, that image is so important to people, it often leads to knee-jerk reactions. As has been mentioned, the presence of the photo wasn't about Hernandez. It could have been any player making the run. It's all about the photographer and I, personally, think it's a slap in the face to Mary.
