->> Hey everyone, I am hoping to find a really fast data storage unit for the field. I had an Epson P-2000 years ago and liked it but it was super slow. Anyone know of a fast one that they like? Thanks for the help!

->> Not certain exactly what you mean. A NAS unit, a DAS unit? Look at Drobo and Synology.

->> I had a couple of those hard drives with built in card readers. I had a Hyperdrive and something before it (don't remember which one, but it wasn't the Epson). My feeling is that with card prices so low you're better off just buying more cards. Both units I had worked okay for a while but had terrible battery life and when they died, they died fast. I didn't lose any work but I won't trust them again.
