->> Can anyone enlighten me and others as to how well Picture Pro presently operates on the iPad? In terms on ingest, edit and captioning for FTP to a source. Thanks in advance.

->> I exchanged a few emails with Dave Shields last night about his product.

One of the drawbacks that's holding me back is the fact that you can't ingest only locked images. Their work around is to create a memo for that image and after you ingest all the images you will see the ones with the memo. According to Dave, this is apparently a limitation of the Ipad and not the product.

Otherwise, it looks like a solid product.

->> I'm a strong supporter of PicturePro, I have used it for deadline work during the World Baseball Classic, and Spring Training. I will really be putting it through its paces next week when we have our first home-stand of the baseball season. I do agree that it would be easier if the native Apple Photos app recognized tagged photos but it doesn't. For now, I feel voice tags are the answer.

->> I have used PicturePro for deadline work for a little while now. I used it for the the 2nd half of the high school football season and many other assignments since then. Its great to use if you want to be mobile. My solution for importing and sorting faster is to use eye-fi cards and transfer only my tagged images that way.

->> It's been some time since anyone has posted on PicturePro…any further experience or reviews? I'm (finally) getting an iPad and am considering integrating it into my on-site workflow.

Is PicturePro the leader in the category of deadline photo ingest/edit/caption/transmit ? Thanks.
