The lens needs to be synced to the back and the PW is synced to the other port on the back. The solution is very simple, all you need is another PW cord, a sub-mini phone to miniphone cable. You can get it at b&h: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&.... There is a voltage problem between the DCS back and the PW, and this solves it. This cord actually replaces the lens sync cord. The new PW cord goes into the sub-mini of the back, and into the mini of the PW.
