->> Has anyone here had to use Ebyline? I recently came across an editorial client who uses it to pay his freelancers. I am just looking for various thoughts, as I feel a bit skeptical about these things.

->> Been using two years through our local Scripps newspaper. Easy and works like clockwork-much better than the "old days" of me making out invoices each month and submitting them and waiting. I get paid into my PayPal account within seven days of submission of an assignment, though the speed probably has a lot to do with how quickly the photo ed actually submits pay approval. Pretty easy UI to learn and file with. At year's end, itemized summary of all assignments and payments and 1099 ready by January 31st.
As far as my experience goes, this is a very easy, speedy, user-friendly and dependable system. If I shoot for another publication, it's a drudge to bill and deal with the submission and waiting compared to Ebyline. Best thing our local paper has done, and that's from my editor as well as me.

My experience compares with Arthur's thus far.
