As to color balance, it is 3850 kelvin plus a couple magenta clicks in your camera's color balance tweaking. Don't know about a catwalk. Elevator takes you right to the top. It is fairly low so you won't need a 400. Last year when the WAC tournament was there I mounted a 80-200 and was fine.
