PhotoMechanic and Lightroom import issue

->> Long story short is that my Macbook is in for repair, so I am using a Windows 7 Dell laptop this week. I installed some trial versions of Lightroom 4 and PhotoMechanic 5 to get me through until I get my laptop back.
I'm not sure what preference I'm not setting correctly on these (as I am used to LR 3 and a much older PM version), but when selecting multiple photos in PM and then clicking the, "edit selected photos with", LR will only import one at a time.
I don't remember having to change any preferences in the older versions as when I would click to edit selected photos, LR would simply import them all.
Thanks! |

| ->> Are you sure your selecting "edit photos in" ? Or "edit photo in"? I made that mistake several time being in a hurry and not paying attention. |

->> Work around flow...
1. Create an Ingest folder and a Transmit folder.
2. Ingest Tagged photos into Ingest folder with PM.
3. Open LR and Import the photos from the Ingest folder into LR.
4. Edit photos and export with your preferences out of LR to the Transmit folder.
5. Open the Transmit folder with PM and add apply stationary etc. |

->> Michael ... if you are going to go through all the trouble to process the photos in Lr ... may just as well "Transmit" right from Lightroom ...
There is a free FTP plugin available in the Lr SDK ... works great ... I've been using it since v2.0 ... I haven't had to use another method for transmitting in years ... the plugin with the combination of TextExpander which adds benefit code replacement saves a lot of bouncing back and forth ... Only thing missing is the ability to ingest just tagged images into Lr ...

Even though the current SDK is for Lr v 4 ... the FTP plugin works with older versions as well ... |

| ->> Butch, Is there are a ftp plug in for LR or do you have to download the SDK and make it yourself? Thanks, Jack |

| ->> Butch, never mind. I downloaded the SDK and read the instructions. Read the instructions? Did I write that? What can I say? I'm bored. |
