| ->> Copyright infringement is Federal. But, If you have a photo with your name on it and it is published or used in some fashion of another. Try small claims court for unauthorized use of your name as an endorsement. Don't mention the photo. In my photographic business, equestrian photography, it is a standard practice to put your name and copy right, John O'Hara ©MMXII. So I call it an endorsement if the photo is used with out prior consent. File in small claims. If they don't show up you win. Even if they don't pay you win because it goes on their TRW. A little vengence is worth a few bucks. Or register your photos, then don't threaten. |
