| ->> David, having looked at the links, I believe you're a bit off. The Obama campaign passed along charges that while high, seemed to be in keeping with what convention facilities charge for goods and services. The Romney campaign seemed to charge to walk in the door. |

->> In 2008 for Obama there were press passes with no facilities offered except maybe bleacher seating behind the press tent and some space on the sides where you could see. I brought my own ladder, hotspot, etc.. got there insanely early and made this picture without paying any money to the campaign:

They charged fees for internet, the press seating tent, etc.. that ran about $975...
This year it looks like you could get a seat for free - but no idea what sort of views were available for non-riser paying stills. |
