->> How's it look for you all out there?
For me, covering something like 8-9 political parties in about 90 min. sprawled all over Monterey County. Woo...
Also, in case you don't know where to vote, I found a helpful site (also for a good laugh...):

->> @Chuck,
Well there are a lot of local races that are really tight and highly politicized for mayors, supervisors, etc. and many are really hot-button.
Many are also only between two real potential people who could actually win, so I have to go to both parties.
So 2 separate mayors races, 2 separate sups races and a few other city council races.
Sometimes it sucks being our only photog, but I have election night down to a science and only send in 5-10 per story. The art director and I have a good working relationship of what's a good photo. |

| ->> good luck! we fortunately don't have any big time municipal elections this go around. it's all about state positions, hence we can get away with fewer locations unlike the elections last year where each photographer was scattered to the winds....8) |

->> It's always a marathon night. We will be split up at the Dem and GOP hqs, waiting for reactions and whatnot.
The twist this year is that there is going to be a third big watch party for a school referendum. Of course that is completely on the other side of town from the Dems and GOP.
May it be a smooth night for us all, filled with lots of pizza back at the office. |

Have fun out there! |

->> The real stress for me was realizing at 7 pm that my carefully crafted candidate mugshot file was FUBARed. Layout people had moved, rather than copied the mugs.
Election night always comes together one way or another.
Cold pizza, high stress, it's all good. |
