->> Are you wanting a tear sheet to send to potential clients electronically or via a deliver service of some type? Or, are you looking for a way to display it on your website or to carry in your portfolio? |

->> I'd echo what Todd said. Go with the PDF. If you need, you can get it printed and it will be higher quality than a newsprint copy. And it can be emailed. That would showcase the work to the best advantage. |

->> Has anyone purchased newspaper issues from www.pressdisplay.com and used those to print their clippings to PDF? |

->> I have used pressdisplay to grab PDF tearsheets and also to read certain or special issues of papers which I was unable to buy off the shelf. Works very well! |

->> I just wish pressdisplay could go back further than 3 weeks, I only found out about it weeks after I really needed it. |

->> Kenneth
I have been using Pressdisplay for several months and use it to back-stop my billing. I have an e-mail alert that will let me know if my name appears in a photo credit. I then create a PDF of the page for my tear sheets and billing.
This works well for me because my name is unique. It may not work as well for other names.
Due to the way the billing works for freelancers here (i.e. they don't tell you if they use submitted images), the ROI is only one missed picture.
The other fringe benefit is that I am able to read the paper versions of several newspapers very quickly every day for about $1/day.
I believe you can use Pressdisplay.com to find articles older than 3 weeks, but you have to purchase them one at a time for about $1 each. |

->> I have contacted the magazine and asked for a PDF. The quality is perfect. No one likes to see a bad scan. |
