->> Chris, I can't speak for the reason, but having been a judge at the Atlanta Seminar I can tell you that no more that 25 words is all the judges want to hear. The captions should be succinct and not overly elaborate. There are a lot of photographers entering this and the pictures fly by pretty fast.
