Endeavour's Move through Inglewood and LA - Time Lapse

->> A couple of weeks ago I reached out to Bert and others to explore time lapse photography. After learning some of the techniques, I gave in to Bert's subtle recommendation that if this is going to be your first project: beware because it is a beast in itself.

Meanwhile, I was tasked with capturing the involvement of the police department in this logistical endeavor. I did recognize the beauty of time lapsing for such an historic event and pitched the idea to the Chief of Police, who trusted me enough to reach out to an experienced time lapser.

I initially reached out to Matt Givot and almost immediately realized that this project was too large for one person, and we eventually expanded it to include Joe Capra, Chris Pritchard and Brian Hawkins. They brought in two more Andrew Walker and Ryan Killackey on the public side.

I was glad to have facilitated their accessibility to the movement in order to document this wonderful historic event. They captured an inordinate amount of RAW frames to eventually skillfully edit it down to a two minute and forty-four second masterpiece.

->> They did all the work, I just provided them with the access but I have formed a new friendship with a whole new group of professional photographers. I quickly realized to step aside when you are in uncharted waters and time lapse was just that for me. I am glad to have been part of their experience.
