I'm still uncertain if I'm able to attend. +1 for the value of the student workshop. It would be a steal at three times that price. I haven't seen many workshops with that kind of student to pro ratio. Five students are teamed up with two pro's for a shooting exercise going through all the steps of a shoot. They are creating a standby list in case someone cancels. Be sure you register before the rate goes up. It is a great lineup of speakers this year. Dave Black, Sports Shooter and regular contributor to publications like Sports Illustrated. Kenny Irby founder of the Photojournalism Program at Poynter Joanna B. Pinneo, shoots for National Geographic Magazine and many other publications. Eugene Richards, winner of the Eugene Smith Memorial Award & Robert F. Kennedy Lifetime Achievement Award for coverage of the disadvantaged to name just two of the accolades of his.
