SoCal Nikon facility moving

->> For those who have been sending gear in for repair or actually going to Nikon's facility in El Segundo -- which is/was quite convenient when arriving at LAX airport -- the place is moving to a new location at the end of this month. The new address will be:

| ->> with the cost of gas, its cheaper to send fed ex ground..gets there in 1 day anyway...and just a shout out to NPS...replaced my 70-200 2.8 after sending in the 4th time for the same issue..THANK YOU!! |

| ->> Doug, Great to know and thanks for sharing. It would of been nice to get an email from Nikon to customers who have gone there in the past. Would of really been upsetting to see a piece of paper on the door on my next trip, "We have moved to our new location, did'nt you get the memo"? Thanks again. |

| ->> I need to take a camera body in for repair. Does any one know of or where I can find the service centers hours so I know when I can drop my camera off. I would rather not ship it since I am local to the So Cal facility. |

->> No one moves to that part of LA for parking, ease of traffic, and cheap rent.
Nikon moved to be closer to the video market. I am sure their El Segundo lease ran out as well. |

| ->> As a follow up since I dropped my camera off today. Traffic from the freeway wasn't the greatest but I got lucky and got street parking in a 30 minute metered spot right in front of the building. I also checked their hours and they are open Monday thru Friday from 7 am to 3 pm. |
