->> This video is a joke right??
Two things i would like to share: I once ran into a so called photographer on the sidelines of a D II football game. We started talking during half time. He claimed to be working for AP (yeah right) but D II games around here anyone with a camera could be on the sidelines. But in our conversation he began to tell me how easy it is to be a pro shooter, that he always wanted to be a pro and how the camera does it all. Yes , he said that. just set the dial on "S" for sports and to do any other shooting set the the dial "P" for pretty. I started to laugh becuse I thought it was funny until I realized he was serious..GOD HELP US ALL.
I know of a woman who lost her job and with the buy out money purchased camera equipment to emabark on a new career. Now she has no knowledge of photography at all.
One year later she now demands $125.00 per hour and has never taken her camera off of "P". Serious. Needless to say she is not very good and she has only gotten a few jobs and is now looking into a third acreer. I'm shocked.

These are pure examples of people who "own cameras"

->> I'll do you one better... Precision Camera and Video, our local "professional" camera store here in Austin, Texas, has been running radio ads for the past few weeks for the latest, greatest prosumer Nikon D-whatever or Canon Rebel something-or-other, with the following line in the middle of the spiel about how it (the camera, of course) takes great pictures:

"Feeling a bit lazy? Just put it in 'professional' mode."

Yes, this from a "professional" camera store. I kid you not.

->> OK, I am starting to get the hint that she is making fun of Mom's With A Camera (MWAC) and not real in what she is saying or doing. She is a great actress in my book, because she comes across as real. There are many out there who are just like her character "Missy" and she is probably creating more with her videos. From some more internet digging I actually think her name is Cheri and she is married to a professional photographer.

Sadly, no, this woman is not kidding. But she is a joke. Even sadder is she (and others like her) are where the lion's share of the photo gigs at newspapers/magazines have gone.
