Sports Shooter Academy IX and Pocket Wizard

->> I am very excited to announce that Pocket Wizard will be sponsoring awards to recognize some of the best images made during the upcoming Sports Shooter Academy IX workshop.
The best remote photograph and best portrait using off-camera strobe will receive the NEW POCKET WIZARD III!!!
(The winning images will be selected by the workshop faculty.)
Also Pocket Wizard has confirmed they will have at SSA IX a quantity of MultiMAX’s, along with the new 32 channel/4 zone Plus III, as well as some Nikon/Canon MiniTT1/FlexTT5.
We have several sports on the schedule that have remote possibilities including horse racing, baseball, track & field and swimming. Also the MiniTT1 and FlexTT5 units will be used during the high-shutter speed sync shoots with Dave Black.

->> Just a quick note: The deadline to apply to attend SSA IX is March 2. There are a couple of non-student spots that we are waiting to fill at the deadline. For more details on the workshop and a link to the application page, go to this link: http://www.sportsshooteracademy.com
(Note: All of the student spots in SSA IX have been filled. But there is a waiting list. Any openings due to dropouts will be filled from this list.)
