Nice job Mike... if you shaved the Youkilis beard you might actually have been able to use your gas mask. |

->> Some great work here, how ironic is it that the cops that are holding the sheilds have what look to be hockey gloves on. |

->> These are all great photos...I'm going to stray a little off topic here. I just don't understand why in the last several years fans think it's ok to riot after their team loses (or wins) a championship. I have some problems with excessive police use of force but in these situations I totally feel the more heads the police bust open the less chance of this happening again. It's ridiculous. |

->> The best comment I've seen (on Facebook) regarding Lam's photo:
"At least someone from Vancouver scored on the road this series....."
The worst comment was from someone instantly throwing out a PhotoShop accusation. Sigh. |

->> Thanks to those who posted and emailed with comments...it's been interesting to experience the flood of emails from both sides. There was a collection of emails at the beginning from people who bought into the initial online theory that the kid in #7 was a hero celebrating the fact he wrestled the stick from people who were smashing the window. Unfortunately, I had a series of him swinging the stick, and later YouTube video surfaced showing the same...and in good ol' Canadian fashion people actually wrote back to say "sorry". People also wrote to implore that I change the captioning so that it didn't refer to the people as "Canucks fans"...a point that did make me think.
Another cool scene emerged yesterday, where police parked their car to help with cleanup efforts and returned to find their car plastered with thank yous:

I am now spending a few days with family here exploring much of what this beautiful area has to share...it's too bad these vacation photos won't get as much worldwide media play... |
