FANTASTIC NFL Films video feature on Lecka and Tielemans
Brad Mangin, Photographer
Pleasanton | CA | USA | Posted: 1:40 PM on 01.27.10
->> Hello everyone. A reader just emailed me with a link to a great NFL Films feature about Getty's Streeter Lecka and Sports Illustrated's Al Tielemans and their pursuit of making the defining photograph of the game-winning touchdown catch in last year's Super Bowl.

http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-super-bowl/09000d5d812b779d/Capturing-Holmes-...

Please watch this video to see two very classy guys discuss one of the biggest moments of their careers in a VERY honest way. Also check out the amazing NFL Films technology.

Well done Streeter and Al!

I like was they both said at the end about that being the only time it will happen and you can't go back and redo it. It's true. Only once will we get that one photo.

->> Funny, when I saw the touchdown footage the first time through, I thought Streeter had made the shot and that Al had been caught off guard and didn't get his camera up in time.

I guess that's why I don't shoot for SI...

;-)

Thanks for posting the link, Brad.
