Equipment Question

->> I am curious if anyone has information about neoprene sleeve for camera lenses. Specifically a sleeve that fits over the lens hoods of long glass. I saw some people using them and wonder if they are helpful.

->> They are helpful for keeping the finish on the lens from getting scuffed up to protect the resale value.

They also have some sleeves with a camo pattern which I could see having some advantage for birdes and nature photographers working from hides.

I'd just use gaffers tape or one of those knee or similar type supporters which are basically the same thing, only about 1/5th the price.
