->> WHile i was shooting a basketball game the other evening, my strobes decided to fire continuous without me shooting. this is the second time it has happened the season. I turned them off then restarted them. it happened again.
Any ideas what the issue can be?
the strobes are Elinchorom style 400bx so I am told by the university.

->> I had that happen with my Rangers. What fixed it for me was replacing the cable between my PW and the pack.

->> If they are hardwired, or you are using homemade cords, having the polarity reversed on sync cords can cause this.

->> Take an electrical outlet tester with you (one of those yellow plug things with three lights that tells you if the socket is wired correctly) and test the outlet you are using. If the socket ground is bad it can cause issues.
