| ->> I live in Simi, I'll show you around. We have a Fridays, a movie theatre, and a Police station, all at the same intersection. Thats pretty much the town right there. There are some interesting place to go, like the Strathern Historical Park, it gives you a little taste of what the city was like in the old days. Then there is Corriganville Park, filled with rocks and scenic views of the city if you dont mind climbing, also where they filmed alot of old western shows and movies. Theres also Rocky Peak in the Knolls, if you want some good views of the city. If you want to venture out alittle bit farther towards the ocean, thers Old Town Moorpark, a street where they have kept it like it was way back when. Basically if you want to take some cool or just visit some intersting places, stick to the outskirts of the city. Anything else you want to know just message me. Hope that helps! Its a dull city with some intersting places to visit. |

| ->> You know thats funny that you mention the RR Presidential Library, I've been going there on field trips since I was a little kid, I guess if you go so many times the place just becomes second nature and you forget about it. Its a pretty cool place to go too and on a clear day you can see the ocean. |

->> Anthony, If you still have time after seeing all the sites in Simi, you can get to Malibu in about an hours drive through the canyon. If you go to the top of Pt. Dume (pronounced Doom-A, but locals just say doom) you can sometimes see grey whales as they pass by during their annual migration.

I used to run a wildlife rescue in Malibu and my office was near Pt. Dume and we would see whales playing right off the point and once saw three calf's having a blast surfing in the waves on Westward beach. There is a park near downtown Malibu that says it's a whale watching point, but you can't see whales from there. :) Pt. Dume is the best place.
Then head north up the coast for the beaches with the archways and huge rocks, El Matador is one of my favorites.

Keep going north until you get to the county line and have lunch at Neptunes Net and watch the surfers.
If you want to eat nearer the town then this place is one of the best deals in the boo. http://www.malibuseafood.com/ |

->> Hay Thanks for the info Brian. Ill contact you soon. When I arrive Im thinking of driving up coast instead of going inland on highways only. Along the ocean sounds alot nicer.
Thanks Juliann for the links and suggestions. It should be alot of fun as Ive never been to that part of country. Thanks again for the tips and help. |
