->> I have my room and car reservations made for the April 7-14. If there is anyone who is interested in saving a few $$ and wants to split the room and car, Message me and let me know.
It doesn't have to be for all the dates. I am arriving a day early and staying an extra night. |

->> I just sent in an application. Wow, this is like waiting for a newborn which I have never had to do...but if this is like what that is, then its like waiting for a newborn. I am in a little rut and have been for a few months and hopefully this can help me get out of that same ole photo syndrome.
Wish me luck and congrats to all who have made it

->> Contact info for all of the participants in SSA VI will be going out early next week.
You should use that list to contact your fellow workshop participants.
This is a very cool, unique, educational and inspirational event. It is very gratifying seeing so much excitement!

->> I wish I could make this event. If only it was scheduled a week later, I would have loved to be there.
Instead of shooting volleyball that week I will be playing volleyball in Kansas City instead.
If you have never attended one of these workshops, it is a must!!! I only attended the boot camp this past fall and can't imagine how awesome the five day event will be. |

To all those attending, be prepared for a very fast-paced, fun-filled week.

->> I have received numerous emails this week from students asking about the upcoming Sports Shooter Academy and what the application deadline is.
As mentioned in the past, there is no deadline per se. Spots have been filled on-going since the workshop was announced last November. Just a few remain and those will be filled late next week after we evaluate all of the applications we have in hand.
And to answer another question that keeps being asked:
Yes, through the generous funding by Nikon, Sports Shooter Academy VI is tuition-free for full-time college and university students.
(Thank you Bill Pekala and Ron Taniwaki!)
Once the workshop is filled a waiting list will be started and all openings due to dropouts will be filled from that list.

I look forward to meeting all of you. Is anybody in the Bay Area thinking of making the road trip down? I have a open shotgun seat in the Subaru. See you all soon. |

->> For all of those that have contacted me in the past few days about the waiting list ... We have had a couple of dropouts and those spots were filled immediately from the waiting list.
I can't promise that there will be more dropouts. But I have "pinged" the participant list to make sure all confirmed people know that there are people waiting and willing to take any unexpected openings.
With Nikon's generous support allowing students to attend Sports Shooter Academy VI tuition-free, you can imagine the huge interest we have had for this year's workshop.
I wish we had 100 spots ... but we could not...
Thanks for your patience!
