->> I am traveling to Boston College for the Clemson game there Nov. 1. For anyone that has shot there, what are some things I need to know, ie, is there a photo workroom, what are the sidelines like, etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

->> Hey Jeff, after you get back... How 'bout updating "The Guide?"
I'm sure this is info others could use, too! |

| ->> I don't know anything about shooting football there other than you need to make sure you know where you will be parking and have your pass in hand. They apparently clean out Beacon Garage (the one next to Alumni) the night before and they were really checking passes letting anyone in there at the Friday hockey game last week (this could be normal - I'm not usually wandering around outside by that street entrance and am parked well before they set up anything on hockey game nights.) |

->> Jeff,
Conte Forum and Alumni Stadium are connected. The work room in Conte Forum is used for all sporting events. If you have a media parking pass you will enter the campus from Commonwealth ave. The media lot is the top deck of the parking garage. The school provides wireless in the workroom. Instructions for connecting are posted in the room.
Two hours before the game you need to get a red vest from the will call window outside Conte Forum. The sidelines/endzones offer plenty of room for you to find a spot to shoot. Get there early. Traffic around the school will be pretty bad even three hours before game time. Good Luck. |

| ->> The Beacon Garage or the Commonwealth Garage? When entering Beacon Garage on the lower level from the Comm Ave entrance of the school, there is an electronic bar doohickey (garage equivalent of a turnstile, can't think of name). It requires an electronic pass normally and I'd be surprised if they had it up for football esp. since it means driving around through the students coming from the Mods. Beacon Garage is entered, by those without electronic passes, via the Beacon Street entrance. |

->> Thanks Peter, Melissa and everyone else. That's very helpful. I'm not sure whether I will have a parking pass yet or not.
I'll be sure to fill out the guide when I get back. There's nothing on the "Boston College" page, and the Alumni Stadium page just has directions and advises to try to get a parking pass.
Thanks,
-Jeff |
