I honestly have to say I owe my life to this guy because it was him who inspired me to become a photojournalist. He has since became a photo editor at another local paper and to help him become a better editor/photographer, he has started this cool little blog called 31 days-31 photos. From Ricks blog- " This is a process to reengage the photographer part of my brain in an attempt to strengthen the photo editor part of my brain.
