| ->> So who's heading up to Road Atlanta in 2wks? I'll be there as usual, trying some new toys out. I'm hoping to catch Boris Said in the paddock this time, I missed him by about 2 minutes last time. |

->> I'm going to miss it this year, which makes me very sad. I had a hell of time last year.
I don't know for sure if they're going this year, but keep an eye out for the UGA advanced photojournalism class out there. Prof Mark Johnson set up a great weekend-long workshop with the PLM people a few years ago and has been taking the advanced students every year since. |

->> I'll be there.
As far as I am concerned, this year is going to be incredible. The Peugot LMP1 is coming over, Penske is running a third RS Spyder, BK is debuting their Lola Coupe P2 car, and a few more odds and ends. Also quite a few Indycar drivers joining in on the fun this year. I'm looking forward to it!
I just hope the Gas freakout ends before I get down there. I would hate to make it there and not be able to find the gas to get home. Is there really a shortage down there, or is it all media hype up here? |

->> Well I love it and would love to get an assignment to shoot an ALMS race at some point, hit Lime Rock for fun a few years ago and it was awesome.
Such a fan-friendly race series, at least at that time.
I can't imagine there are many paying assignments there though, sadly it's just not that popular. Growing for sure though. Have fun! |

->> Not going to Road Atlanta but I'll be at Laguna Seca for ALMS. I'm looking forward to it as road courses are my favorite.
Have fun in Atlanta. |

Unfortunately, Talladega is that same weekend and we all know which pays better. |

->> I would love to go but I do not have the dinero. I will just have to settle for
going to Laguna Seca for the finale which is always a great event. So for those of you going to Petit Le Mans I look forward to seeing some of your images.

| ->> I love the fact that it's only $65 for a full access pass the day of the race. And the fan interaction is great. I'm only shooting for myself this time, so no press pass, however there's not much you can't shoot on the normal ticket at Road Atlanta. BTW< yes there is a gas shortage, however I wouldn't be worried. It's still 2 weeks away and the tanker trucks are rolling in every day. |

->> I'd love to make it this year - but things have been uber busy at work - and it's getting harder and harder to take off extra days to factor in the drive time.
If the airlines weren't such asses when it comes to flying - I'd do that. |

->> Dave,
You trying Earl Fannin, the track pr guy?
Earl's a good guy and he should respond to you pretty quickly, but honestly, it's a bit late and if you haven't heard anything it might mean a no go.
PLM is getting more and more popular and more and more outlets are covering it. One day it may be (almost) as important as Sebring, but what Sebring has going for it is that it comes before LM on the calendar. |
