->> Just got the notification. No bib. For those of you who have covered the Masters, how did you plan? I just foresee the final day being a nightmare trying to navigate.

How is done? YOur client would have 2 or 4 shooters covering as many angles and holes as possible with long long lenses.

Perfect lenses: 24-70, 70-200, 300 and 600. Bring a converter too and a strong yet light monopod, h2o, a hat and rain gear. And when at the hole or the tee, never press the shutter before contact is made with the ball.

More 2 Come

->> Pag,

I should have been more specific. I've done a fair number of PGA events over the years. Knowing how the crowds are around the tee boxes and greens, I'd foresee difficulties getting clean backgrounds at the tee and just as many problems trying to navigate around the green. Only having a pair of us there, we need to do more than camp.

Also, making things a bit dicey, I messed up my back a month ago. Not quite as mobile...

Thanks for the input.

It is no bib for everyone?

At the PGA Championship last month only selected organizations received inside the ropes access.

Just a suggestion. If you have the opportunity early in the week, walk the course to get a feeling for what tee boxes might be possibilities of having clean backgrounds. You also might want to scope out the backgrounds on the 2nd and 3rd shots on the par 4's and 5's as sometimes a clean backdrop is apparent and we do not realize until after the fact.

Look forward to seeing your images.
