Best price on good, bulk 8x10 prints
Mark Smith, Photographer
Elk City | OK | USA | Posted: 11:05 AM on 08.13.08
->> I no longer own a photo lab, and I need to print about 300 8x10's. Need good prints, but I'm just trying to find the best price, as dollars either way, add up on an order this size.
Ideas?
Discuss.
TIA

->> Not sure if you have one near you, but you can order online as well (you must be a member however to get prints), but Costco has incredibly cheap photo printing, $1.49 for an 8x10, even if you just get one. And they make their printer profiles available. Just a thought. The cost of membership is quickly offset by the savings when printing that much.

->> It's also a function of what kind of quality you need. I use myphotopipe.com. Call them and ask for Pete, the owner, and see if he will cut you a deal. They print on a 16-bit Chromira and the prints are beyond incredible. He might be willing to cut you a deal for that kind of volume.
