Besides that point, whenever I get the D300 into temperatures over 85 degrees, it will not fire at 8 FPS. Shot with it at the Olympic Track & Field Trials in hot weather ... beach volleyball in 90-plus temps and at a couple of other pretty hot situations. No problems. The "battery issue" I've read about has to do with the battery level readout being in error I believe.
