| ->> Ditto, Aaron. I grew up listening to his humor, he was a great observer of humanity, and pointed out the funny and ridiculous part of ourselves we should have laughed at all along. |

->> I remember being in high school when his HBO special came out. He closed with the extended "Seven Words" list that was like 200. Someone copied them all down and the list was passed around like a sacred scroll.
All I can say is "S, P, F, C, CS, MF and T" |

->> Then why asterisk the a? D:
He was a great man and showed us how silly some things we deal with really are. He will be missed. |

| ->> I heard the news this morning while listening to the radio on my way to a communication law & ethics class whose syllabus for the day coincidentally called for discussion of the "seven words." We talked about the FCC versus Pacifica case and watched a clip from Carlin's original performance. I thought it was a fitting tribute. |

->> This guy I will truly miss. A pioneer...
His routine on "STUFF" and the comparison of Football to Baseball made me bust from laughter.
Yet, he made us all think. |
