Did you go to the photographers' meeting this morning?

If you did then you should have your spots selected and you can show up at whatever time you feel comfortable with parking space still being available.

If you did not go today then you will need to go even earlier than normal to get your shooting spot.

Most photographers arrive very early, several hours before the first race, to install or tweak remotes, beat the traffic, etc. Once the racing starts your ability to make adjustments is curtailed and you cannot install any new remotes, etc.

Frankly, I'd plan on going about 8 a.m. or even earlier.

I'm not at the Belmont this year and it's been a few years since I went, but traffic can get pretty bad into the parking lots there.

The contact at Belmont Park for the photographers is Keith Kline. Keith is great, as he also handles the photographers atthe KY Derby & breeders Cup races, he knows what we need. He did assign/mark spots immediately after the photographers meeting this morning at 9am.

Check in with Keith in the morning when you get there...Supposed to hit 95 degrees tomorrow, so bring the SPF75

Jeff
