->> Seriously wish I could be there! I traveled up with the Duke team and we had to leave a little earlier than we wanted. But I did enjoy the first day up there and Boston was awesome.
For some photos from my fellow Inside Lacrosse photographers (and friends) John Mecionis, Greg Wall and Larry French, check out this link:

Kevin Tucker and John Strohsacker at US Lacrosse always do an incredible job as well. I don't see a photo gallery link yet, but here is the link:

Beyond that, if anyone else has links, I too would love to see them!
Side note, I followed Duke and did some behind the scenes with them:

->> Peyton,
As always, great to see you on saturday. Sorry that you weren't around for the finals, on the other hand....... There's a NCAA D1 trophy that's going in the family showcase, words just can't describe it. |

->> Mark: Thanks! hopefully I will see you before lax season.
John: I know that had to be a special moment for you as a dad. I was thinking of you as I saw the SU players rush the field. I can only imagine the feeling. |

I didn't realize 'til just now that your son played for SU...
Congratulations to you both! It was a great game to watch (sadly, for me, on TV).
See ya next spring @ Garber?!

->> I was also there are the rookie SS member. Rookie in terms of covering the lax championships since I joined SS, not the first time for the tournament. I've updated my member page with some highlights.
John - you're too modest about your son's accomplishments. Three days working side-by-side with you and I didn't make the connection. I look forward to covering him (and the rest of the Orangemen) again next year in Foxboro.
Other than that deer on the Garden State Parkway (who knew Jersey had a deer problem?), the trip up and back to Foxboro from Maryland was only annoying. Gillette Stadium is a good showcase for lacrosse in a non-traditional part of the country. If they'd only get the constuction in the parking lots done.
The Boston area must be Nikon country. You know those road side signs stating which group cleans up the stretch of road you're on? There's a northbound part of I-93 south of Beantown with a Nikon logo on the cleanup sign. |

->> Thanks to all for your nice comments. I was without a doubt one of the luckiest people in the stadium on Monday.
Thom, see you at Garber next year. I hope they can get their problems sorted out.
Peter, A pleasure working next to you this year. I'll see you again next year.
Mark, Thanks!
Ben, Also, Thanks!
And Walter, thanks for letting me Hi-jack your thread. I know you're a Cuse alumni and although I'll never be one, my son and daughter will. We're a very Orange family.
Damn, life is good. |

->> After updating my member page, I forgot to provide a link to additional coverage from the lax tournament this weekend. My stuff gets posted to http://www.laxpower.com/media/media.php
As of Wednesday at 9:30 PM EDT, only Saturday's Division I quarterfinals are up in the Most Recent and Championship Coverage sections. The shows covering the D II, D III, D I championship games, and D I (aka Orangemen) celebration are in the queue.
Laxpower runs more video clips (that I didn't shoot) than slide shows (that my son and I did shoot), my apologies Walter for any digging you have to do to find the SU shows. |
