MultiMax Pingo Pong with Plus II(s)
Liam Richards, Photographer

->> Forgive me if this has been addressed in the past, i couldn't seem to find anything on it but here is my question.

Can one Pocket Wizard Multi Max cycle though Plus II channels. So would i be able to set one pocket wizard plus set to channel 1, one to 2 (you get the point) then with a Multi Max shoot one frame have fire channel 1 and then the next frame fires channel 2 and then back to channel 1 on the next frame.
i hope my question makes sense. i realized that the multi max can cyle though groups but i would like to just add one multi max to my army of pocket wizards plus II.

Thanks

I may well be wrong, but my understanding is that the MultiMax's speed cycle function only controls the groups (A, B, C, D), not the channels themselves. Thus you need a MultiMax for each receiver.

Don't think what you're looking for is possible, sorry.

cheers.

->> I believe that Jon's Comment is correct. I use that function a lot when running multiple sets of lights and it runs through the A,B,C,D groups on one channel and the Classic channels (Channels 1-16) don't have separate groups. It works very well with the muli-max units. You can use this function to run 2-4 sets of lights.
