Once thing I found out though the hard way - if you export to the same directory, you end up losing all your files....and they're not recoverable....whoops. Well, there is that warning in the export dialog box saying you'll overwrite and lose the original if you continue.... It's not really something they can fix. They can make it warn you about the possible consequences, but you have to decide whether you want to go ahead with the action.
