| ->> My Mark II and 300 mm took a tumble last night. I had a 1.4 TC on as well and that seemed to take the brunt of the force. Camera okay and it seems that the 300 is okay (at least glass and outside) but the 1.4 split in half. The plate connected to the 300 mm seems to be jammed on and I have refrained from forcing it. The release knob came off with the split and I can see the pin into the base of the 300. Any tricks to getting this off? Thanks. |
