->> I have shot at MSG for the past two Big East tournaments and I know that photographers are not allowed to set up remotes on the hoop for those games. I am shooting the Pitt-Duke game there next week and was wondering if this is the case with regular college games as well?

Also, can somebody give me a good sports bar close to MSG to watch the Steelers game afterwards?

Thanks.

->> Peter,

Drop sportsshooter member David Saffran an email. I believe he shoots for MSG and should be able to answer your questions regarding the remotes.

As far as watching the Steelers game there half a dozen sports bars in the vicinity of MSG (including one inside MSG) that might have the game on. You can search on citysearch.com to get more info on that.

If not, try Blondies on 79th between Broadway and Amsterdam...they should have the game on. Take the Local UPTOWN #1 train from MSG (it's right downstairs) five stops to the 79th street station and Blondies is 100 yards down the block...and they have great hot chicken wings.

Good Luck.

Ben

->> Peter, yeah, contact Dave. I set up a remote a few years back with his help at the Garden during some college games. He always seems to know the going-ons there.

->> Peter, Yes you can hang a remote behind the glass for this game. Big East doesnt allow remotes for the Tourney. The things you will need to hang the remote is 2-magic arms(one with 2 clamps) and a safety chain. This will make sure it doesnt fall or move. Also it will have to be up by the latest 5:30, this way you dont get in the way of the teams warming up. I will be there around 5:00. Any problems you can give me a call on my cell. See you Thursday.
