Football player got his number knocked off... literally!

You got to see this AP photo. Talk about random luck!
From ESPN.com ~ Over on the gridiron, there's been a lot of suspicion about the photo of Alabama linebacker Rashad Johnson having part of his uniform number literally knocked off of his helmet (additional details and another photo here), with more than a few readers proposing assorted grassy knoll-esque conspiracy theories. Uni Watch, deeply shaken by this lack of faith among the readership, assures everyone that the photo is completely legit. Uni Watch has seen video of the play in question, and you can clearly see the number decal flying off of Johnson's helmet at the moment of impact. Improbable? Yes. A Photoshop hoax, as many have suggested? Nope.~

->> Where did the number come from? If you look at the two photos, the 6 is on the helmet still.

The player on the ground has a different number on his jersey then helmet?

But if I remember correctly, Rashad Johnson (49) tore his jersey during the game and had to borrow a jersey (29) for the remainder of the game.

It's on the web somewhere...
