Multimax problem

I have problem with one of my Multimaxes. It works as trasmiter (with flash or to fire remote camera) but not as receiver. Any idea?

->> Hold down C turn it on.

A reset is a good place to start.

After you have reset both MM, try firing a flash with them. If it does not work, hit the test button on the receiver and see if it fires. Also, try port 1 and 2. Could be a dozen problems, like David said...

The way you have it currently set, you're transmitting on Channel 1, receiving on 1 and with relay on the receiver switches to transmit mode and goes to transmit again on channel 1. I'd turn the relay off completely and see what that does.

->> I agree with Manning, turn off the relay (it's the L button, I believe). I don't actually think it's the problem, but it's a good place to start. When you try to trigger the receiver, does the light on the receiver blink/activate? Just trying to make sure it isn't the cord.
