->> Guys I have been informed by my photo editor that two of our four MKIII's will be replaced by video instead, My question is which is the better video camera for PJ use? Sony HVR-V1U? Canon XH A1? or?? we have a Sony in house for a few days of testing as we will have Canon according to the reviews the Sony is OK but the Canon may have an edge with stills any thoughts? Thanks for your help ahead of time.

->> Something to thing about: The Sony is more compact and shoots 24P which is not interlaced - that's good for frame grabs. Even though you can deinterlace the grabs from the XHA-1, which is about one third bigger in size.

I would try to handle both and see which feels better as it's a real personal choice.
