High School Stadium/Gym Lighting Systems
Josh Birnbaum, Student/Intern, Photographer

->> My old high school is putting together a bond proposal to improve sports facilities. This gives the possibility of installing good lighting systems at the football field and gym that will really help the student photographers from the newspaper and yearbook, along with the local newspaper photographers who cover sports there frequently.

Does anyone have any recommendations for lighting systems for a high school football field that would be most camera friendly? This cold be an actual stadium lighting system, or a type of light. For a gym, I would like to get recommendations for good, better, and best types of systems that would be installed in the ceiling.

Any help you can give would be much appreciated.

Have a look at these sites. By "camera friendly" do you mean bright? Both systems the companies I linked to provide for permanent installs will both suffer from the famous color-cycling problem when shooting at high shutter speeds, but if things are wired and focused accordingly, the problem can be minimized.
