Canuk travelling to Louisiana - Advice
Vance Lester, Student/Intern
Saskatoon | Sk | Canada | Posted: 8:17 PM on 02.17.07
->> Hey all, I am headed to Bogalusa LA to document a Belleville Ontario organizations help rebuilding houses destroyed my Katrina. My problem, I have never been that far south. I've been as far as Vegas, in the middle of a sorcher of a summer.

The question. What am I looking at as far as temperature and climate? The trip is in the middle of March. When I leave Belleville it will still be well below freezing. But for 9 days I'll be in (what I am assuming) is warmer weather. How warm am I looking at? How humid?

So should I pack shorts and light shirts or keep my parka and long pants?

You can leave your parka at home. But brind some warm clothes. Its been a cold wet winter. The night's in a couple of weeks will still be a little cold. As far as shorts? Not yet.
