->> I found out the hard way. Back in December I sold a less then a year old Sigma EF 500 DG Super for a canon on Ebay. The flash just got back from CRJ they give it a clean bill of health, (I did not want to sell it if there was anything wrong) This guy out west bought it, he paid with Paypal, used it over tighten and broke the mounting plate (Sigma are known to do this). Paypal stopped payment to me and I got screwed. They are giving him back my $160.00 and now I have a broken Sigma EF 500 DG Super. Does anyone know were I can get this part? I will never sell anything on EBay with paypal!!!!!!!!

->> I bent the mount on a Sigma teleconverter a few years ago, called them and they shipped me a new mount. I imagine they would do the same for a flash foot.

->> Not sure where to get parts. I checked around the SF Bay Area and couldn't find a hot shoe mount for my EF-500 DG Super when my portable light stand blew over (long story). I eventually shipped it off to Sigma to be repaired by them. They turned it around in about three weeks and cost me $45.00.
Works as good as new, and I feel good that the factory repaired it, and not me.
