->> I know this is OT, but what a game! Three touchdowns in the last 55 seconds to send the game into overtime. How about that lateral? Nice!! Anyway, to whoever shot that game, I'd love to see your images!
:~)

| ->> GO BOISE! The WAC went 3-1 in bowl games this season and hopefully will get more respect from the AP. I'm from Hawaii so I support the WAC. USC will definitely be the pre-season #1 when come next season though. Other than that, it was a great game. |

->> I don't even shoot football and I wished I were there!
The only game I sat and watched in it's entirety, and boy did I pick the right one!
I was pulling for the "underdog" the whole time and was getting pretty upset near the end of regulation...what an amazing amazing game. |

->> That was the most spectacular finish to a football game I have ever seen! A gutsy call for Boise State to pull off a victory and a gutsy call by the football player popping the question, incredible!
Jody, will you marry me?! (I am on one knee as I type)! |

->> Man, some of those plays were like things we used to draw up in the dirt when I was a kid. AWESOME game!
As for the NFL OT, I don't know how that's "real football." Whoever wins the coin toss usually wins the game. At least with the college rules, each offense and defense is going to get its shot. |

->> Alan-
The stat I read says that in the NFL, the coin toss winner only wins a little over 50% of the time...so technically you are right (51% would qualify as "usually"), but it's not as lopsided as one would think...
----------------
For example:
(14) NFL overtime games in 2005:
The team that won the toss in overtime and received possession first won 8 out of 14 times. This is actually 57% (not 51% as I cited above) but it's a relatively small sample (n=14). Over long periods of time, the number is closer to 51%-55%...
Have fun. Make Pictures.

| ->> Todd's comment about about the movies is dead-on. Immediately after the lateral play, I was commenting to my brother about how it felt like we were watching one of those cheesy feel-good football dramas...coaches yelling on the sideline as the maverick quarterback audibles a ridiculously improbable play, but somehow pulls it off to win. Then it happened twice more! I only watched about 20 minutes of bowl football this season...boy did I pick the right twenty minutes. |

->> Doug,
NCAA rule is fair, and beats old Texas high school rule on penetrations and first downs. No luck of the flip, both sides get a shot.
Tostitos game was most exciting in a long time great play calling. Was reading blogs on Bama's offer to Saban on Bama site, they were going nuts over game and wanted to hire Peterson.
Right now I'm ashamed to be an alum of Bama, its embarrassing having experienced the haydays under the Bear. |

->> Well Ron, as a lifetime Miami Dolphin fan, looks like you'll get Saban tomorrow if I read the "let me think it over tonight" tea leaves right...along with 8-10M a year Alabama is offering.
I can tell you the people on my Dolphins mailgroup will help him pack.
I didn't mean to hijack the thread, so let's go back to our regularly scheduled discussion...

->> What a great game. From Boise State starting out firing, then Oklahoma with the improbable comeback, only to have Boise stave off defeat not once but twice.
All in all, a very fun game to have witnessed. I actually just got to updating my member page with some shots, including the dive into the end zone to put Boise into OT, and the 2 pt conversion to win it.

Great play, I also officiate high school football in Texas, play is legal in NCAA also as one continous snap motion.
michael, thanks,
