2007 AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic: Nebraska vs. Auburn

->> Who's coming to Dallas? If you have never been to the Cotton Bowl, be ready for a few days of fun, hospitality and pretty good lighting thanks to the 10:30 AM kick-off. No promisses on the weather, but last year year it was 70 and sunny.
The media hotel is again the Omni Mandalay. It has free high speed wireless in every room. All the press confereces are there as well as credential pick-up. If you are not staying at the Mandalay, be sure to come by for lunch each day. It is also where you get tickets for the various evening parties and team functions.
The stadium is old, but has high speed wireless in the photo work room. The work room is field level and fills up early. There is a pre-game meal at the stadium and plenty of snacks during the game.
Credential requests can be made online at attcottonbowl.com
If you have question, just ask. Fellow SS member James D. Smith and I are here to help. |

| ->> I might make it this year if I can also get the Cowboys-Lions game the day before and make a weekend of it. The Cotton Bowl is always a good time, especially hanging out at the Omni. |

| ->> I will be there again too. Any idea what the media gift will be yet? Last years wind breaker was awesome. It has been used WAY more than the lap top bag the previous year. I'm looking forward to another great game. |

->> John,
I'm looking forward to meeting all of you guys. That is one of the great thing about working the Cotton Bowl: all the great photogs who come to town.
When are you coming to Dallas? Will you be at the Omni? |

| ->> Hey Ian, not sure if I will be there or not, but can you slip me one of those fleece things that say AT&T in your camera bag and bring it to the Cowboy game on Sunday? |

->> Mike: They are not available yet. Sorry. Why won't you be there. That double-truck in SI get you to the BCS???
John: That is not a bad place to stay. The Cotton Bowl Operations office is down there and The Big Play Lunch on the 30th and the New Years Eve party as well. WHo are you covering it for?
Mark: It is only three hours from Shreveport to Dallas! |

| ->> Hey Ian, not sure that I wont be there, just thought if I could get you to bring me one then I would end up with two. The DT in SI is not really proving to be the bonanza I had hoped. It even played second fiddle to my in-laws summer vacation scrapbook over the holidays. Such is life. |

->> Ian-
Made it in around 1 this morning. Nothing like a 4-hour delay out of Atlanta. The media gift is really nice, and my wife wants to keep it. Good luck to that. Will try to give you a call on your cell on Sunday. Trying to catch up on sleep.
