->> For those who familiar with both of the systems, I really appreciate some input: which system would be better on field.(price is not an objective)

->> Actually, I'm also interested in the Kenesis Modular belt as well. So, which should be the best among those three. Lightware, Thinktank or Kenesis.
Thanks in advance. |

->> ThinkTank without question is a great product. I am not familiar with the Lightware, sorry. But the ThinkTank is well made, very comfortable and very versatile. I have had it on all day and forgotten it was there.
And Doug from ThinkTank is a pro who can answer any of your questions and help you with what you might need better than anyone. Great service. |

->> i second ian's comment. The think tank modulus performs great in every circumstance sports, news, weddings... And i agree with ian that doug was a HUGE help and a great guy. I just preffered buying something from a small compny with their roots in photojournalism and great customer service as aopposed to a huge coproratioin.
One thing though, their sizing is a bit weird. They dont size based on common clothing size, but instead how many inches around your waist is when you measure it. For instance i wear a size 36 jeans, but in reality, the actual size in inches would be larger, so measure your waist with a tape measure and use that number to order the belt. (Doug explained it better).

->> Chris,
Take a good look at the Kenesis system. I've used it for a few years although I recently tried the Think Tank system when I bought their Airport Security.
Both systems are well made and designed by working photographers.
I found the Kenesis gear easier to work from. That is, easier to change out lenses and carry a couple of flashes. Their bags fit the lenses with hoods well when wearing the belt system.

->> Chis,
I'm hooked on the Newswear Chestvest. I really like the "cross over" shoulder strap system which keeps it from sliding off.

| ->> I am using the Modulus system myself for most things I shoot (mainly events), and the system has yet to give me problems of any form at all. Service support is great - even though for a person waaaaaay out of the States like myself. However, for weddings in my country, it's a chore to get in and out of the car with the system (any belt system too, for the matter) when you're practically jumping in and out of the car as you move from location to location. That aside, it's a gem to have - direct access to the 50/1.8 and 85/1.8 primes I stack on each other within my Speed Changer, while the rest of the space can fit up to three NP-E2 batteries. It's as if the size was designed snugly for all these stuff and more! |

| ->> Kinesis, hands down. I wish they had a raingear solution, but I'll live. Expensive, but great quality. When I did have a problem with a zipper, they repaired is very fast over christmas without any questions. |

->> Thank you guys for all the inputs. I've stop by at Penn Camera today to check on the Thinktank system, good quality though. By the way, has anyone been using the Lightware belt system?
I really need the final input before I order.
Thanks again. |
